WHAT WE'RE DOING
H2Ow Are You Initiative

Flying and travel are significant contributors to climate change, yet business travel remains an essential part of our operations. Our mission is to be respectful guests on this planet, wherever we go — even at home. Air travel, in particular, is projected to consume up to 25% of the global carbon budget needed to maintain the 1.5°C average global temperature increase scenario by 2050. This impact far exceeds the frequently cited 2–3% of global emissions attributed to the aviation industry.

The consequences of a changing climate and extreme weather events — such as droughts, wildfires, windstorms, and flooding — are not limited to the most vulnerable communities. These impacts are being felt worldwide, highlighting the urgent need for sustainable action. The name H2OW Are You stems from the criticality of the hydrocycle and water, and the importance of reaching out to our neighbours in times of climate crisis.

This initiative reflects our commitment to providing accurate carbon reduction insights while developing and supporting programs that contribute to a sustainable carbon network. By aligning net-positive programs with net-negative offsets, we aim to achieve meaningful carbon reduction. We accomplish this by:

-
Calculating Carbon Footprints: Using the Kaya Identity and IPAT computations to assess the environmental impact of human activities for each project.
-
Collaborating with Industry: Partnering with organizations to develop and support certifications that uphold high environmental and ethical standards, ensuring project credibility and effectiveness.
-
Conducting Life Cycle Analyses: Evaluating the carbon offset potential of projects from inception to end-of-life to guarantee genuine carbon credits without unintended consequences.
Our projects are designed to align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, fostering meaningful partnerships locally and globally to address the challenges of climate change. we invite you to join us in making a tangible difference. Contact us today to learn how you can contribute to our efforts and become a part of this impactful initiative. Together we can create a sustainable future for all.
